Electoral Organizing 101: How to win volunteers and persuade voters

Wednesday, May 18th at 7pm ET/6pm CT/5pm MT/4pm PT

We need to elect socialist candidates focused on supporting families and communities to build power in our movement — but these bold candidates can’t win without you!

It’s time to get to work to get DSA endorsed candidates elected, and we’ve got just the tools to support you.
Join us on Zoom to dig into the skills required. We’ll be going over the ins and outs of building a volunteer program, from how to confirm, train, and recruit volunteers to collecting and turning out voters.

Who are we? The National Electoral Committee (NEC), is composed of DSA members engaged in electoral work around the country, is the national body empowered to execute the DSA’s electoral strategy through assisting locals with their electoral organizing and elevating nationally endorsed campaigns. The NEC includes subcommittees focused on the DSA In Office Network, Endorsed Campaign Support, Endorsements, and Training & Chapter Outreach.
