As the Medicare 4 All campaign continues to grow we will need to adapt to new strategy concerns. In order to meet this challenge the M4A Steering Committee is creating our Political Subcommittee.

The Political Subcommittee will develop strategic and political recommendations for DSA’s Medicare for All work to be approved by the NPC. Once up and running, the Political Subcommittee will conduct research and debate strategies and tactics, including candidate and policy endorsements and regionally specific strategic support for DSA chapters, and develop short- and long-term strategic plans for consideration by the NPC.

The Political Subcommittee will be comprised of the Campaign Steering Committee; representatives from major and relevant national bodies, including the National Electoral Committee, the Democratic Socialist Labor Commission, the Disability Working Group, and the Socialist Feminist Working Group; allies from major campaign partner organizations; and DSA members selected from amongst DSA activists from a range of backgrounds and contexts.
